This contemporary house project made of rough concrete is in Limonest near Mont d’or, which is near Lyon. The house is built into the slope. Pierre MINASSIAN wanted the building to merge with the existing vegetation. Hardly visible from the road, the house offers a large front window on the valley side. Upstairs a mashrabiya of wooden pieces with biscuit pattern filter light comes and brings to the facade a remarkable identity. Construction remains in a simple shape on two levels. The main materials are rough concrete, glass and steel. The curtain of hanging shape are made of wood. The roof patio is vegetated.
