This house is located on the French banks of Lake Geneva in the town of Thonon-les-Bains. The slope goes down to the lake offering a panoramic view of the water’s scope. Simple volumes in rough concrete occupies the bottom of the plot freeing the view from the entrance of the property. The project consists of the superposition of two parallelepipeds, one on the ground floor containing the living room and a cantilever on the first floor containing rooms with views of the tops of the oak trees and the mysterious mists Lake. This project is built entirely out of rough concrete. The façade upstair is dressed in large white resins shapes that control the intake of light and heat inside the house. These shapes in very a particular style that Pierre MINASSIAN and his team of architects have drawn bring an identity and a unique feel to this prestigious bioclimatic building.
